Privacy notice
What we store, why, and what we never collect. A plain-language draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer.
What we store about you
- Your email address, and a name if you give one — to identify your account, send sign-in links and receipts.
- API keys, as one-way hashes. We cannot read a key back after showing it to you once.
- Your account activity: credit balance and transactions, the domains you registered, the authorisation statement you agreed to and when, and your studies.
- A sign-in cookie (
ptx_session) if you sign in by email link. We use no advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
What a study stores
Study artefacts: screenshots of your own site as the participants saw it, the controls and text on each screen, what each simulated participant did and said, and the report. If you give us a test account for your site, its credentials are stored separately from study data and used only to sign in during your studies.
The participants are simulated personas generated by us. They are not records of real people.
What we never collect
No personal data about your real visitors. ProductTex does not install anything on your site beyond the verification token you choose to add, does not read your analytics, and does not observe real people using your site.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details go to Stripe, not to us. We receive a record that a payment succeeded and for how much.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider stores the data on our behalf. To run studies, page content and screenshots of your site are sent to the language-model providers that power the simulated participants. Anyone you send a report link to can read that report. We do not sell data. [Named sub-processors to be listed in legal review.]
How long we keep it
